Unique, Rustic Jewelry Display Ideas
Hello everyone!
If you make jewelry like I do, you already know your going to have to have some type of storage or displays for your work. Especially if you do any type of event where you go and sell your craft or any craft fair. At events like craft fairs, your display can be vital in making a sale. I have taken pictures of my personal displays I use and have used for my handmade jewelry.
A HUGE thank you to my boyfriend Danny for building most of the displays for me. I love you baby!💗
OK and now for today's post: UNIQUE, RUSTIC JEWELRY DISPLAY IDEAS !
First on the list today we have this 'arrow-head' home decor piece. I do not know the actual product name because I actually got it for free one night shopping at the craft store Joann. Literally when I was checking out the cashier asked me and my boyfriend if we would like to check out the room next to the cashiers desk and choose anything we'd like out of there for free. Of course I was like YES.
So here is what it looks like! It is just a rustic style painted arrow-head.
Here is what it looks like with one of my products I offer on my Etsy shop.....
Pretty neat eh?
The only problem I did have with this display is the arrow was slanted. I'm sure if you are reading this blog though you can maybe find some inspiration for a similar idea!
Okay, our next unique, rustic display idea is one my boyfriend made! When I first started needing displays, I went to Pintrest for inspiration. I found this one peg board display idea, told Danny about it and... voila!
Yes, this is a peg board! It was perfect for holding earrings seriously. Danny framed it from old scrap wood, spray-painted it a pretty baby blue, even got the peg board piece from scrap junk. This display idea is perfect for craft fairs as it is pretty unique and you can customize the frame and the color choice to your style!
Number 3: Antique Drawers
Alright so the first house me and my boyfriend lived at actually was old (AF) and had a lot of scrap furniture! There was actually one antique drawer we found and another drawer similar in size to it. So,again Danny worked his magic and made a yellow and blue antique drawer necklace display!
Right now since I have a shop on Etsy (@collectionwjewelry) I am not doing any craftfairs or any planned events. I use these displays and a few others I'll get into to display and organize the jewelry I make (even though
the pictures are not very organized.... sorry!).
As you can see in these pictures there are hooks drilled into the tops (the handle inside part) and BOOM! You have yourself a rustic jewelry display. Also customizable to your liking!
Alright here is an original idea by me (my favorite!)
So when I was shopping for supplies at Walmart, I actually saw this tin board in the arts/craft section and just knew I could do something with it. I purchased it, and originally made it into a necklace display..... but Danny had other ideas (lol). Seriously though he made some killer displays!!!!!! Here is the tin board after he made a few changes....
AN EARRING DISPLAY BOARD! Again!
So to organize my earrings I bought some display cards from Joannes and he drilled the same hooks into this board (from the drawers).
He also made the tin board stand up! Built legs on it and everything. I do not have a photo of the legs because this display is in use.
Last idea I will share today is another item I got from Joannes for free (same night as the first display in this post). I thought it was perfect to take pictures of my jewelry on because I wouldn't have to just use copy paper like a lot of merchants do.
I think it is suppose to be some type of wall decor, I'm not sure though. Here are some pictures of it being used for my jewelry!
This piece is literally amazing. I am so glad I snagged it lol!!!!! The only thing I would change about it is I wish it were bigger!!!
Well that is it for today's blog post folks I hope you enjoyed reading this and more importantly I hope it maybe sparked some inspiration for your own DIY displays! There is inspiration all around us if we choose to see it!
Just one more thing also.... I have an Etsy shop now! I just opened it a couple of days ago, but I have worked so hard just planning it all. Please go check that out at:
